Pennsylvania was targeted in the search for E Pearson based on the write-up / assessment in GAWP5 as well as that's where the pictured panel raiser (below) was found. In Pennsylvania ca 1800 there were two other E Pearsons, one a millwright from East Bradford and a second a mariner from Chester. In the 1800 census, the distribution of E Pearson's in other states was: 1 in MD, 4 in MA, 2 in NH, 2 in CT and 1 in CT.
