"Plan of Southborough by Nathan Bridges produced in 1795 for the official Map of Massachusetts. Notice that one principal road, called the “3 Rod County Road” passes from east to west across Southborough, crossing the Stony Brook in two places in the east of town. Today the Sudbury Reservoir has eliminated most of the eastern section of the road. Downloaded from Digital Commonwealth, the on-line map collection of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts."
