While his trade is not specified in his probate documents, his inventory is very important with the valuable chest of tools, a lathe, lumber, shingles, clapboards, plank and spokes. There are also significant indicators with his father’s housewright trade and his close association with Caleb and Nehemiah.

Nehemiah Batcheller b 1771 Charlton, MA. After Salem and Sullivan, NY, he was in Lenox, NY through 1830. Carpenter. Brother-in-law to Luther. Nehemiah witnessed Luther’s 1808 deed in Sullivan and was co-admin with Huldah in Luther’s 1808 probate.

Lewis Fisher, housewright, Salem, MA. Deceased by 1810. This location doesn't match with the Dedham area and the date seems early.
